Question: Strut and Shock Replacement
Sir or madam,
With nearly 56,000 miles on what I presume to be original struts and shocks, when do these need replacement? The car is still under a certified pre-owned warranty until the end of the month. I purchased new tires at 48,000 and had those tires rotated and the oil changed very recently. When I asked the serviceman, he stated that ordinarily the struts and shocks would be past their normal useful life but mine were fine. This site is silent on this question. Is there a correct service interval?
Thank you.
