Question: Noise upon starting car

after turning key I hear a noise immediately following. Kinda like double starting car noise. It has happened four times now. Is it the cold or should I be concerned?

I have this too and it's late June and hot outside. It's almost like a grinding, though I don't think it's the starter motor. It only happens when the car is cold (been sitting for a couple hours) and at first it made the sound only for a split second at start up but now it seems to be getting longer and longer (at least 2 full seconds). I'm wondering if it's the fan or something like that which is coming loose. Has yours been fixed?
